Kitchen Safety Tips:
Make sure to add any attachments to an appliance before you plug it in or turn it on.
Keep fingers away from the ice cream machine beater while it is churning.
Step 1: Prep
Measure out all ingredients.
Step 2: Beat
Add all ingredients into a mixing bowl and whisk until combined, for about 2 minutes.
Step 3: Churn
If using a Kitchenaid mixer, turn on to “stir” and slowly pour in ice cream mixture while it is churning. Churn continuously for 20 minutes.
If using an ice cream machine, follow manufacturer’s directions.
Step 4: Add ins
Once done churning, fold in any desired treats.
Ex: crushed oreos, m&m’s, peanut butter cups, chocolate chips, etc.
Transfer ice cream to a freezer safe container.
Step 5: Freeze
Freeze for at least 4 hours to fully achieve the right consistency.
Step 6: Enjoy!
Grab ice cream out of the freezer, add to a bowl or cone and add your favorite toppings!

Kitchen Safety Tips:
Let anyone around you know that you will be using the stove.
Always use a pot holder when touching the handle of the frying pan.
Step 1: Prep Pan
Heat frying pan with olive oil on a stove over medium high heat.
Step 2: Cook “Meat”
Add your meat of choice to pan and stir periodically until meat is browned.
Set cooked meat aside in a bowl.
Step 3: Sauce
In the same pan you used for the meat, add all sauce ingredients.
Stir and bring to a boil.
Once boiling, lower heat and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
Step 4: Combine
Once sauce has simmered, pour into bowl with meat. Stir to combine.
Step 5: Assemble
Toast buns if preferred.
Scoop your desired amount of sloppy joe onto your bun.
Step 6: Enjoy!
ENJOY!!
If not eating right away, keep buns and meat separate so that your buns do not get soggy.
The meat can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 3 days.

Kitchen Safety Tips:
Always use pot holders when touching pans on the stove.
Turn the stove off as soon as you are done using it!
Step 1: Dry Ingredients
Whisk flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a mixing bowl.
Step 2: Wet Ingredients
Add milk, water, and oil into the bowl with the dry ingredients and stir with a spatula just until ingredients are combined.
A few lumps are okay,
do not overmix.
Step 3: Prep Heat Source
Heat griddle to 375° or heat a frying pan over medium high heat.
Spray with a vegan nonstick cooking spray, vegan butter, or coconut oil.
Step 4: Make Pancakes
Take 1/3 cup measuring cup to scoop batter onto your hot pan. Repeat with remaining batter.
Cook until bubbles form, then flip and cook until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes.
Step 5: Enjoy!
Once pancakes are cooked, serve with your favorite toppings, and enjoy!
Step 6: Topping Ideas
Strawberries, blueberries, vegan chocolate chips, bananas, peanut butter, maple syrup, agave, etc.

Kitchen Safety Tips:
Always use an oven mitt!
Be sure to add any attachments to your mixer before you plug
them in.
Step 1: Preheat & Prep
Preheat oven to 475°
Add 1 Tbsp ground flax and 2 Tbsp water to a small bowl or ramekin, stir, and set aside.
Step 2: Cream Butter & Sugar
Add brown sugar, granulated sugar, and cold butter to stand mixer and beat with paddle attachment for 4-6 minutes.
Step 3: Vanilla & “Egg”
Stir your ground flax and water mixture.
Add vanilla and flax egg to stand mixer and mix until fully incorporated.
Step 4: Dry Ingredients
Add whole wheat flour, baking powder, salt, and cornstarch to a mixing bowl and whisk to combine.
Add dry ingredients to stand mixer in 3 parts. Mixing well between each addition.
Step 5: Chocolate Chips
Add in chocolate chips and mix until combined.
Use a cookie scoop and place 12 cookies on a parchment lined baking sheet.
Step 6: Bake & Enjoy!
Bake at 475° for 5 minutes.
Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Kitchen Safety Tips: Always make sure nothing is in the oven before turning on. Remember to use an oven mitt and turn off when done. Let others know there is a hot surface!
Key: tsp- teaspoon TBSP- tablespoon
Step 1: Preheat the Oven
Check to make sure nothing is in oven
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
Step 2: Prep Tray
Place parchment paper on baking sheet or spray with cooking spray
If you have the Prepped to Prepare Kit, skip to step 4
Step 3: Mix
Mix all of the ingredients together in one large bowl. Wash your hands. If available, put on gloves. Use your hands to mix thoroughly.
Step 4: Form
Roll meatballs in your hands, about the size of a golf ball. Use spoon to portion if needed.
Step 5: Bake Meatballs
Using an oven mitt, place in oven and cook for 25 minutes, until bottoms are brown, remove using oven mitt. Turn off the oven
Step 6: Serve
Eat as is or add to sauce, pasta with cheese and sauce on a sub roll or cut and add to eggs for breakfast! ENJOY!

Kitchen Safety Tips: Use gloves when multiple people are eating a no-bake item!
Oz- ounce
TBL- tablespoon tsp- teaspoon
Step 1: Prep Food
Cut peppers and onions into a small dice and put into small bowls. Rinse and open cans of tomatoes.
Large can of puree, dice and crush. Large beans. Small can paste.
Step 2: Season!
In a pan, heat oil and add onions, season with chili seasoning. Cook until translucent, add peppers one bowl at a time and add seasoning after each kind. Cook on low for about 10 minutes
Step 3: Sauce
In a large pot, add cans of different tomato and season in between. Add kidney beans and mix.
Add veggies from pan.
Leave oil and remnants and cook ground turkey in pan until fully cooked (no pink). Season
Step 4: Add turkey
Add turkey to pot, season with garlic, onion, salt and pepper.
Cook on low to medium heat, do not boil.
Step 5: Taste
Taste after 30 minutes, season if needed, cook for minimum 2 hours.
Add water if too thick.
Step 6: Enjoy!
Spoon and enjoy!
Great on its own or over rice or pasta!!

Kitchen Safety Tips: EVOO – extra virgin olive oil
Make sure when using a knife you have a sharp knife on a clean and dry surface! Ask for help!
Step 1: Cut Tomato
Cut tomato into bite size pieces. Add pinch of Salt and pepper
Step 2: Cut Cucumber
Cut Cucumber into bite size piece and add to tomato
Step 3: Add oil
Add up to 2 Tablespoons of EVOO depending on how you like it.
Stir
Step 4: Salt and Pepper
Add pinch of salt and pepper, stir
Step 5: Feta
Crumble and add feta, stir
Step 6: Enjoy!
Eat cold and enjoy!

Kitchen Safety Tips:
Make sure all hand mixer attachments are securely put on mixer before you plug in and turn on!
Make sure to refrigerate after making!
Step 1: Espresso
Brew espresso and place in refrigerator to chill
Step 2: Mix
In a cold bowl, mix Heavy Cream and Granulated sugar. If you like, add almond or vanilla extract here.
Using a hand mixer, beat until stiff. Do not over beat to avoid turning into butter.
Step 3: Add Mascarpone
Add room temperature mascarpone cheese and fold into mixture using a spatula
If possible, put mixture into a piping bag (for mini tiramisu). For larger portions, you can skip
Step 4: Lady Fingers
Dip lady fingers in cooled espresso. Do this quickly so they don’t fall apart! Place in a layer on the bottom of pan.
Step 5: Layer
Add layer of cheese mix and then a second layer of fingers. Top with final layer of cheese mix. Sprinkle with cocoa if you like.
Step 6: Serve
Cool for 1-3 hours, portion and Enjoy!!!

Kitchen Safety Tips:
Notify anyone in the kitchen that you will be using the stove.
If you have a metal pot, be sure to use pot holders.
Step 1: Cook Rice
Add water and rice into a small pot and bring to a boil.
Once boiling, turn down to low to simmer with the lid on for 15 minutes.
Step 2: Heat Skillet
Put skillet on the stove over medium high heat and add olive oil.
Let heat for about 1 minute.
Step 3: Sauté Veggies
Add all of the veggies into your skillet and stir occasionally to help them cook evenly.
We are cooking the veggies until they are tender.
Step 4: Sauce
In a separate small pot, add all of the sauce ingredients, whisk, and bring to a boil for about 1 minute.
Continue to whisk occasionally to prevent any ingredients from clumping.
Step 5: Finishing
Once your sauce has boiled for 1 minute and your veggies are tender, pour all of the sauce into the skillet with the veggies.
Mix veggies and sauce together with a spatula.
Step 6: Plate and Enjoy!
Scoop some rice onto a plate or bowl, add your veggies and sauce on top and enjoy!!
For a pop of crunch, you can sprinkle some sesame seeds on top if you have them!

Kitchen Safety Tips:
Let anyone around you know that you will be using the stove.
Always use a pot holder when touching the handle of the frying pan.
Step 1: PreHeat Oven
Pre-heat the oven to directions on the back of your crescent roll package.
Step 2: Cook Meat
Add meat to the pan and cook until meat has browned.
Step 3: Season
Once meat is about halfway cooked, add seasoning and stir to combine.
Continue to cook meat until completely browned.
Step 4: Make and fill ring
On a sheet tray, open your crescent rolls. Unroll and place on the sheet tray in a circle. You will want to do this with the thicker part in the center of the ring and points on the out.
Fill ring with meat and cheese and pull points over on top to the center.
Step 5: Cook
Cook for time on back of the package plus 5 minutes. You want to make sure the crescent dough is cooked on the top and the bottom.
Step 6: Enjoy!
Let cool a few minutes and slice to enjoy!
Dip or top with your favorite toppings!
