A Message from President & CEO Mindy Cervoni
July 13th, 2020
The New York State Office of People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) released new guidelines for Individualized Residential Alternatives (IRAs) and for those who live in group home settings. New York State’s phase four re-opening plan includes information on resuming day programs, community outings, and the return of residents from extended stays.
Due to the sudden notification to our agency, our team at Community Services for Every1 is working diligently to construct a safe plan to resume all of the aforementioned activities. New York State and OPWDD have implemented various guidelines our agency most uphold to move forward with our reopening. We are just as eager as our residents and their family members to resume a bit of normalcy when it comes to these everyday activities. Our team recognizes how hard and frustrating these past few months have been.
Please note, the safety and health of our residents and staff are the utmost importance to us. Establishing a solid re-opening plan is required to ensure we are diligent in keeping everyone safe. We anticipate having a detailed plan in the coming days, and we will be sharing these notifications with you when we have finalized all necessary details.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at 716-883-8888 ext. 707 or send us an email to COVID19@csevery1.com. Thank you for your patience during these unprecedented times. Our priority is always the community we support and serve.

Per guidelines from OPWDD, effective immediately, all Community Services for Every1 Individualized Residential Alternatives (IRAs) will suspend all visitations, with the exception of medical or clinical necessity. In an attempt to contain COVID-19, we are implementing this new policy to protect the health and well-being of the people who live in our residences.
Please note, that any medically essential visitors will still be subject to our screening process and anyone who presents symptoms of illness, has recently traveled to higher at risk areas labeled by the CDC, or has been in contact with those who may be exposed to COVID-19, will not be allowed to enter the site.
We understand this is a confusing and fearful time. Because the coronavirus is highly contagious for up to 14 days before a carrier is presenting symptoms, it is important we continue to practice social distancing for everyone’s safety. Many of the individuals we support are at a higher risk for complications than the general public. Our goal is to keep everyone safe and healthy during this time of uncertainty. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at 716-883-8888 ext. 707 or COVID19@csevery1.com.
