Housing Subsidy Program

Community Services for Every1’s Housing Subsidy Program assists individuals aged 18 and older with intellectual/developmental disabilities to achieve greater independence in the community. Funding is available to people seeking housing in the community that may not be able to afford to continue to live independently without this rental support and helps individuals to establish their own household or independent living arrangement. It is available to individuals who meet the eligibility criteria set by the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities.

The Housing Subsidy Program provides financial assistance to cover a portion of monthly rent, mortgage payments, and other housing-related costs, including condo or co-op fees for those residing in uncertified community-based settings. Additionally, new participants may receive transition funds to purchase essential items for their new homes.

Community Services for Every1’s Housing Subsidy team provides guidance and support throughout the application process, ensuring a smooth transition for interested individuals. All those who meet the eligibility criteria are encouraged to apply for this valuable service.
